Get active. Be autism aware. Raise funds.
Cycle for Autism is a fundraising challenge to cycle 10km every day from Wednesday 14 July to Wednesday 21 July. That's 8 cycling days in total.
It's a virtual event that means you can do it at your own pace, in your own time. Consequently there are no organised events to attend.
Why not challenge yourself to cycle 10km every day from 14 July to 21 July 2021, while raising much-needed funds to support autistic people in the UK.
You can go solo, or cycle with other members of your household.
Register now to join like-minded people and to show how much you care about autism.
As part of the registration process you will create your very own online fundraising page. Simply follow the straightforward instructions, upload a photo, tell your story and ta-dah - your fundraising page will be ready to share!
When you have raised your first £10 on your fundraising page, we will send you a FREE Cycle for Autism T-shirt that you can wear with pride on your Cycle for Autism rides.
Counting your kilometres
Use your phone to count your kilometres or search 'free cycle ride tracker' in your app store. Alternatively use Strava or Fitbit to connect to your fundraising page.
Cycling 10km (which is approx 6.4 miles) will take between 45 minutes to an hour at a leisurely speed. If using a flat route and you are a confident cyclist you may be able to ride this distance in a speedy 30 minutes! However what's the rush? Take your time and enjoy your daily 10km Cycle for Autism ride.
By taking part in Cycle for Autism you will help provide the best opportunities for autistic people to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them. What are you waiting for?
